Visit Cappadocia, Turkey's natural wonder and historical heritage site with its mushroom-like rock formations, ancient Byzantine churches and hidden underground cities carved deep into the tufa rock. Optional balloon ride at dawn.

 Day 1.Istanbul.
Individual arrival at the airport from where you will have a transfer to your hotel. Free time. Overnight.

Day 2 : Istanbul
Visit the major tourist sites of  Istanbul: Topkapi Palace, (closed on Tuesdays) residence of Ottoman sultans, the Hippodrome, site of chariot races, the Blue Mosque, famous for its colorful ceramics, and Saint Sophia, (closed on Mondays) decorated with ancient frescoes. Afternoon enjoy the hundreds of  shops in the famed covered Bazaar. Overnight in Istanbul. B. L

Day 3 : Istanbul
A half-day cruise on the Bosphorus, depending on weather conditions. Also visit to the spice market. rest of the day free to explore the city on your own. B

Day 4 : Istanbul – Kayseri – Cappadocia( extra charge-flight is not included approx. USD 190.00 per person
Morning flight to Kayseri. Arrive in Kayseri Airport or pick up from the Cappadocia hotels.  Pick up at Kaiseri airpotr followed by a full day touring with valleys to see the remnants of some older churches, rock formations and the famous underground cities where locals used to hide from enemy intruders and  Christians from persecutors. After lunch visit Ortahisar Castle, with its cave dwellings carved in tufa rock. In the afternoon visit Kaymakli Underground City where early Christians lived in fear and faith. On the way back visit to panoramic Pigeon Valley where pigeons contributed to the lives of locals with their manure to fertilize the vineyards. You may also like to taste Cappadocia wine in a local winery. Overnight in Cappadocia. B.L.

Day 5 : Cappadocia
For those interested and do not mind getting up very early, an optional hot balloon tour can be arranged to view Cappadocia's unique formations from above.
After breakfast depart from the hotel. Visit to Devrent Valley with their unique Fairy Chimneys are abundant. We will walk through this amazing valley, then continue to Pasabagi (Monk’s Valley) with multiple
mushroom- like stems and caps, peculiar to this area. Drive to Avanos, the pottery village where clay is has been worked on since ancient times dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay which is used by local craftsmen comes from the mud of the Kizilirmak river, the longest river of Turkey.  Continue to Goreme  to Goreme Open Air Museum whre you can visit Byzantine are churches, chapels and monasteries carved into the the rock, some dating back to the 10th to the 13th centuries with frescos Byzantine-style frescos on the tufa walls. free time. return to the hotel, overnight in Cappadocia. Day 6 : Cappadocia / Kayseri
After breakfast transfer to the airport in Kayseri (B)
