ITINERARY
Day 1 Thu : Istanbul

Individual arrival at Istanbul airport, transfer to your hotel. Free time to recover from jet lag. Evening welcome briefing with  your local tour guide and overnight.

Day 2 Fri : Istanbul
Guided full tour of the city stretching through two continents. We will visit the most famous sites; Topkapi Palace residents of the sultans, (excluding harem), the ancient Hippodrome, the impressive Blue Mosque, famous for its white and azure-blue ceramic tiles; majestic St. Sophia church, the symbol of ancient Byzantium. We finish today's sightseeing with a visit to  the
Grand Bazaar, the largest covered bazaar in the world with over 66 streets of shops. In the evening optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment. (B)

Day 3 Sat : Gallipoli – Dardanelles – Canakkale  Map
Drive to Gallipoli, through the European lands of Turkey. Visit Anzac Cove and Lone pine cemetery, Chunuk Bair famed WWI sites, then across the Dardanelles Strait by ferryboat to Canakkale on the Asian side where we will spend a night. (B,D)  

Day 4 Sun : Troy – Pergamum – Izmir
This morning we visit legendary Troy with its famous wooden horse, then drive to Pergamon, the site of the ancient Medical Center Asclepion considered the oldest known hospital in the world. Before arriving into Asclepion we will stop at a typical village and will enjoy lunch with locals in a traditional way. Later on continue on to Izmir, the major city on the Aegean coatline for overnight. (B,L, D)

Day 5 Mon : Ephesus & St. Mary’s House – Izmir
This morning we emabark on an excursion to the site of  Ephesus, the best preserved Hellenistic-Roman city in the world. Walk on Roman marble sidewalks, visit the agora, temples, theatres and the famous Library of Celsius. After this excursion to Roman past we'll drive up the nearby hill to visit the little stone cottage of the Virgin Mary where she spent the last years of her live after the Crucifixion in isolation accompanied by St John. ON the way back to Izmir we stop at a local rug factory for a short demonstration. Tonight enjoy an optional dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6 Tue : Izmir – Pamukkale
Drive through fertile valleys to Pamukkale a town with several hot springs and a popular thermal recreational resort. Admire the frozen waterfalls of  white lime cascading down,  then visit Hierapolis, the Roman spa town a reminder that the area has been popular and  used for therapeutic and recreational purposes for thousands of years. After check into your spa hotel, enjoy the thermal spring pools before dinner. (B,D)

Day 7 Wed : Pamukkale - Bodrum
Today we drive south back to the coast line to thecharming town of Bodrum in a scenic bay adorned by the castle of the Knights of St John. Walk around the bustling harbour surrounded by sheltering mountains sloping towards the sea. The city was home to the original Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. (B,)

Day 8 Thu : Breakfast
Our services end after breakfast. (B)
Morning optional transfer to Bodrum pier for travelers wanting to take a gulet cruise.

Possibility to take a Turkish coastal cruise on a sailboat, gulet, wooden boats along the azure cost among inlets, hidden coves and ancient historical sites.
