This escorted Turkey tour offers a lovely local atmosphere in on the Greek Island of Kos and also Turkey as well as historical highlights. It is a wonderful experience of Aegean culture with its vine, olive oil , delicious sea food and healthy cuisine.
Itinerary:
Day 1 Fri : Istanbul
Upon your arrival you will be met by our representative and transfer to your hotel, tonight you have a welcome
meeting in the hotel .
Day 2 Sat : Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel a full day guided tour , including Topkapi Palace , Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia
and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly-folk dancing show. (B)
Day 3 Sun : Gallipoli . Troy - Canakkale
After breakfast at the hotel , drive to Gallipoli and visit Anzac cove and Lone Pine as well as Conk Bair , continue to
legendary Troy and overnight in Canakkale .(B,D)
Day 4 Mon : Tenedos (Island Bozca Ada ) . Assos
After breakfast at the hotel drive to ferry port for the short ride to Tenedos (According to the ancient legends, the
Greeks went into hiding at Tenedos after leaving behind the Trojan horse) visit the medieval castle and tasting the
local vine walk through the Greek district. Ferry back to Troy and continue to Assos and overnight . (B,D)
Day 5 Tue : Assos . Pergamum
Breakfast in the hotel , depart to Pergamum visit the local olive musuem at the foot of Mount Ida . Continue to
Pergamum and visit Acropolis continue to Foca the old picturesque fishing town of Aegean Sea overnight in Izmir
Foca .(B,D)
Day 6 Wed : Samos (Greek Island) Izmir
After breakfast drive to Kusadasi and take a ferry to Samos ,the real Greek Island along the Aegean shore, visit
Samos Town then drive to Hora through the village of Mitilini and visit Monastery of Agia Triada, Roman Baths in
Pythagorion, lunch in a local greek restaurant, return to Samos Town and visit ouzo factory and walk through the old
city. And return to Izmir(Foca) .(B,L,D)
Day 7 Thu : Ephesus .Izmir
After breakfast short drive to Ephesus walk through the 2000 years old marble Roman street , with its Temples
,library and the grand theater ,continue to Mother Mary house and return to Izmir for
overnight.(B,D)
Day 8 Fri: Drive to Halicarnasus (Bodrum)
Breakfast at the hotel continue to Bodrum visit the traditional village Sirince on the route , taste local vine and
continue the magnificent Castle of Bodrum with underwater museum overnight in Bodrum (B.D)
Day 9 Sat : Bodrum .Kos (Greek Island )
Morning transfer to ferry port for Kos and have a independent time on the island take the last ferry back to
Bodrum and transfer to your hotel .Tonight have a fare well dinner at a local restaurant . (B,D)
Day 10 Sun :Return
You will be transferred to Bodrum airport. (B.)
On this day you may either take a flight back to Istanbul or take a boat for a gullet cruise or take a
ferry to Rhodos from Marmaris for extra cost.
