Our trip covers what is perhaps the most beautiful part of the Turkish Mediterranean coast, exploring classic sites and seascapes on easy walks. A relaxing and enjoyable holiday in quaint and historical towns with carefully selected, restored local architecture hotels where available. Shopping options at local rug cooperatives, a pottery making workshop, vineyards, onyx factories and first hand interaction with local, friendly Turkish people.

ITINERARY - 12 days/11nights with possible 3-night cruise extension (Min. 2 passengers)

Day 1 Mon: Istanbul  Arrival. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your boutique hotel. Meet your guide in the evening for a briefing. Overnight.

Day 2 Tue: Istanbul  In the morning join our half day sightseeing tour of St. Sophia and the Hippodrome. In the afternoon you have an option for a Bosphorus cruise on the strait dividing Europe and Asia, as well as an optional spice market tour. You can also discover the city on your own if you prefer that. B

Day 3 Wed: Istanbul  Morning guided visit to Topkapi palace, Blue Mosque and Grand bazaar. Tonight join an optional  tour to a popular restaurant where you can enjoy Turkish dinner with belly dancing and folk dancing entertainment. B

Day 4 Thu: Gallipoli and Troy – Assos  This morning we depart on the European side of Turkey to Gallipoli  and visit Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery and Chunuk Bair, fames WWI sites. Before we cross the Dardanelles over to Asia, we will visit Suvila Vineyard and wine cellar to taste original Turkish wines. Continue to Canakkale to visit the remains and legendary Troy with it reconstructed wooden horse. Drive to Yesilyurt for dinner and overnight. B D

Day 5 Fri: Kusadasi via Pergamum.  After breakfast at the hotel we drive through the olive forests and stop by an olive museum. Then we visit an ethnographical museum in Tahta kuslar (wooden birds) village. Enjoy lunch with locals in a traditional local village continued by a visit to Pergamon where we will see the ancient medical center and asylum of Asclepius, the oldest known hospital in the world. Drive to Izmir for dinner and overnight.. B L D

Day 6 Sat: Ephesus & St. Mary’s House. Morning tour of  Ephesus, the best reconstructed Greek -Roman city in the world. Explore 2,000 year-old marble streets, a theater, the library of Celsius, a gymnasium and Hadrian’s Temple. Take a short drive to see St. Mary’s stone cottage on top of the nearby hills where she stayed later in life accompanied by St. John. Continue to a regional rug producing center. Afternoon optional visit to the Greek ghost village of Sirince. Overnight in Izmir. B D

Day 7 Sun: Izmir – Ankara. Cappadocia. Early morning flight from Izmir to Ankara where we will have lunch, then visit the world-renowned Museum of Ancient Civilization, depicting the ancient history of Anatolia. You will see one of mankind's oldest settlements dating back to 8000 B.C, as well as Assyrian, Hittite, Phrygian, Lycian artifacts witnessing Anatolia varied fantastically diverse and ancient history. One of the highlights of the displays is the reconstructed tomb of King Midas of Gordion. Continie to Cappadocia, for dinner and overnight. B.L.D.

Day 8 Mon: Cappadocia.  Early Morning Optional: Balloon Tour. Experience the feeling of floating through volcanic valleys, fairy chimneys and caves with the sun rising above the rugged landscape of Cappadocia. After breakfast visit the Byzantine frescoed chapels at Goreme and former dwellings of monks carved in the soft tufa rock, one of Turkey's most famous World Heritage Sites. This afternoon we visit the home of a traditional Turkish Family. Tonight's dinner is in a traditional Cappadocia restaurant. Tonight Optional: Whirling Dervishes performance. B D

Day 9 Tue: Cappadocia – Antalya.|
This morning after breakfast we are visiting on of the the underground cities of Capadicia where entire villages lived  during troubled times since time immemorial. Set out for Antalya through Taurus mountains and visit Aspendos the once important Roman city on the foot of the Taurus mountains and Perge famous for its well-preserved ancient theatre. Today lunch is included and will be served in casual style at a traditional village restaurant. Overnight in Antalya. B L D

Day 10 Wed: Antalya.  A free day to rest on the Mediterranean or join an optional tour to the Archeological Museum of Antalya claiming to have Sanata Claus' (St Nicholas)' bones, combined with a a short cruise from the old Roman Yacht harbor. Overnight in Antalya. B D

Day 11 Thu: Myra – Finike – Kalkan.  Morning drive to the lovely town of Myra with its beehive style Lycian tombs and  visit the moving little basilica church with the sarcophagus of  its former beloved bishop, Santa Claus or St. Nicholas. Continue to the lovely town seaside town of Kalkan known for its white-washed Greek houses, bougainvilleas  and beautiful views for dinner and overnight. B D

Day 12 Fri: Kalkan – Fethiye – Return. Morning drive to Fethiye and visit Lycian tombs dotting the hill side. Later transfer to Dalaman airport for afternoon flight to Istanbul. (Flight ticket is not included). B

Day 12 Fri: Kalkan- Fethiye – Cruise | An early morning drive to Fethiye to board your gullet at 9.30 am. We'll have a relaxing and casual sail along the beautiful shoreline towards uniquely beautiful islands and finally hoist near Göcek island. Following lunch and a swimming break we will cruise to Yassıca islands to spend the night and cherish the the beautiful azure-green scenary. B L D

Day 13 Sat: Bedri Rahmi Bay – Domuz Island – Aga Limanı.  After breakfast we will cruise to Bedri Rahmi Bay. Bedri Rahmi is a famous Turkish artist who made one of the first ‘Blue Cruises’ in Turkey. Following his visit the bay was named after him. We will go to Domuz Island for a swim and anchor in Aga Limanı for dinner and overnight stay. B L D

Day 14 Sun: Kumlubük – Cennet Island – Marmaris | Today, we will cruise to Kumlubük Bay early in the morning. Breakfast will be served in Kumlubük Bay. We anchor at Cennet Island for our last swimming break and lunch. We will enter Marmaris Harbour by 4 p.m. Overnight stay will be in Marmaris. Guests wishing to see more of Marmaris are recommended to go to the city center and experience the lively night life. B L D

Day 15 Mon: Marmaris | We will leave the boat and transfer to Dalaman airport. B
